I can edit or assist an editor, as well as help with on-location workflow--backing up video, quick rough edits, edits for immediate release, preparing video for internet consumption, etc.

I am a native English speaker, but conduct all daily business in Japanese.

I regularly interpret on location, including technical discussions about equipment or logistics. I interpreted all interviews for the Oscar-nominated documentary "The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom", and acted as the camera crew liason for the Backstreet Boys' concerts in Japan.

I am happy to work as just an interpreter if technical knowledge and understanding of video production and equipment is needed.

I have the equipment and facilities necessary for authoring, pressing, and packaging commercial-grade Bluray and DVD discs. I can handle the entire workflow from design and creation of menus and content to authoring, pressing, and delivery. I have put together many commercial Blu-ray and DVD discs, including the Rolling Stones' 2011 release of "Some Girls Live in Texas '78".

I am proficient in HTML, CSS, PHP, MYSQL and Javascript.

I am proficient with still photography, and often do concert photography or "behind-the-scenes" stills.
I have experience with SLR's from all makers, filters, and other still photography equipment.

I have studied lighting both at college and technical school, and am familiar with all equipment and concepts. I can set up lighting for interviews and small-crew shoots, or assist with lighting on a larger production. I have experience interpreting lighting director instructions to the lighting crew.

I have experience recording sound with both boom mics and lapel mics, and can run sound for interviews or other small-crew shoots. I also have experience with small to mid-sized mixers and can handle small scale concert setups.

I regularly drive in Tokyo, and have no problem with manual transmission vehicles, such as 2-ton trucks.
